About TOUCH N SURF
Founded in 1993, Touch N Surfs parent company, Trans Com Network began providing long distance services to LEC payphone companies, such as Pacific Bell and GTE. In 1998, TouchNSurf began working on software for its line of interactive internet stations. After 3 years of intense Research and Development, TouchNSurf finalized its AWARD WINNING software. Since its initial rollout in California, the company has expanded its operations to Texas, Hawaii, Kansas, Nevada, and New York, as well as throughout the state of California. Presently, we have negotiated agreements with The Texas Hotel & Motel Association, The Greater Kansas City Hotel & Motel Association, the South Padre Convention & Visitor Bureau, the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce and Austins Convention & Visitor Bureau.
The MGM Grand, Monte Carlo Hotel, Riviera Hotel & Convention Center, as well as other major Las Vegas entities such as the Sands Convention Expo are currently utilizing Touch N Surfs kiosks. A growing list of outstanding Host Sites includes major hotel properties, midsize hospitality entities, Visitor Information Centers, and airport locations.
A Reliable, Functional Terminal
The Internet based system provides users with high-speed access to the internet, the ability to check/send email, record and send video email, access MS Office (including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint), access pop email, make clear Voice over IP calls to anywhere in the world while surfing the web, and much more. All of the systems are connected to our Network Operating Center (NOC), which monitors and maintains the units 24/7. The NOC monitors each unit to ensure it is operating properly at all times. It provides real-time, web based reporting of all revenues on the units for accounting and traffic reports. All information, including advertising, concierge, and software upgrade content is modified and remotely uploaded to each terminal without manual intervention. In the unlikely event of error detection, the NOC dispatches the appropriate authority to resolve the issue immediately.
Touchscreen Concierge System
The complimentary concierge system is an information/reservation system that allows users to access a myriad of information about a particular market as well as other markets where Touch Screen has a presence. Users are able to view, read, and hear about a business, print information and driving directions, or speak directly to that business via a direct connect phone feature. Additionally, another unique feature of the Touch Screen system is that the information posted for any specific participating city is accessible from any unit within our network.
Local Market Support
Touch Screen Information Centers of Texas establishes a work force in each market consisting of management personnel, sales staff, and tech support. Additionally, a local graphics firm will also be contracted to handle production requirements. Utilizing graphics, video, audio, print and a Direct Connect phone feature, Host Sites are able to offer their guests a glimpse of the sights and sounds of their community in the most convenient, consistent, professional manner possible. It is important to remember the Touch Screen Information Center is not designed to replace personnel it is a tool designed to enhance your guests experience.

It provides each Host Site with the most comprehensive information tool available to enhance their guests experience. At the same time, Host Sites are able to utilize the system to provide information about their property, and incorporate it into their sales and marketing efforts.
Automated Self-Checkout System
Utilizing TouchNSurfs state of the art Self-Checkout System, hotel guests are able to easily view and print out their room statement, including room charges and incidentals, prior to checking out at the simple touch of a button.
